A note about the following: a pulmonary embolism was not what actually happened to Jimm. From the emotional first report, that's what it sounded like.. but it turned out that the clot was not in an artery, but in the trachea.. cutting off air instead of blood supply. Both of course are dangerous, and Deborah was told this day that Jimm's chances of survival were slim.
This note is kept here as a record of how the event was recorded at the time.. a scary time to be sure. aw
Jimm has suffered a pulmonary embolism. This means that one or more clots have reached the lungs. Procedures are being done to try to remove them.
He is on the ventilator and his heart has already stopped once.
The family is coming in because things don't look good.
If you pray, do it now.
