Update August 12th

Friday night Jimm had a 102 degree fever and an uncomfortable night. He is still on heavy pain medication, has undergone some swelling again and his BP has been too low to do dialysis for three days. They hope to do that tomorrow. The infection is not yet under control and they found a clogged drain that may have caused pooling of infected fluid in his abdomen. The drain has been replaced.
As of late Saturday evening he was resting more comfortably.

The family hopes to have that meeting with doctors and nurses Monday or Tuesday. Not only is the communication poor between medical teams and the family members, but Jimm doesn't seem to be tended to in a manner he is in need of, and the room is not being kept as clean as it should be. All that will be discussed at the meeting.
